A learning milestone
Ok, I'm really excited because yesterday Filippo understood English for the first time in his life. After sitting on the floor in the TV room, he decided to head out toward the kitchen. When I saw him by the door, I simply said: "Phil, please come back". I was amazed to see this 8 months old kid stop, turn around, and head back to where he was before. We thought Rebecca had been fast learning both Italian and English, and she was 12 months old when she started reacting positively to my English speaking. But now Phil set a new record in our family. I'm more and more amazed at these kids. It took me ages to learn to speak English, and it's taken them just a few months to learn both Italian and English at the same time. I love my kids. Rebecca and Phil are great!!
